Just as important as it is to make everyone comfortable in a situation, it is just as important to be honest when it comes to selling yourself. Honesty can go a long way in an interview. I can’t tell you how many times I answer a question that might hurt me honestly, but the interviewer takes notice and often tells me that they like that I am honest. It sounds kind of dumb, but employers really like honesty. They will take notice. Selling yourself or a product to someone can be difficult, but an open and honest conversation will definitely go a long way.
