I have felt the aftermath of buyer’s remorse. Something I had always believed is that buyer’s remorse  was my fault as the buyer. Usually when I thought about my buyer’s remorse, I attributed it to not doing enough research or just buying before I had considered all my options.

although this is true in many ways, in sales class we have learned that buyer’s remorse is considered the sellers fault. This came as quite a shock to me. I had always believed that the job of the seller is just to get the product sold. But in all reality selling is about solving a problem. This means that the responsibility of a salesman continues after the product is bought

An aspect of this new age salesman is Integrity, not only in yourself but in your product as well. Integrity becomes more and more important currently, where business’s rely on good customer relationships and ratings. By taking on more responsibility, sales people are to be looked at as guides in your product search not another hurdle to jump in the already stressful sales process.
