Over this past summer my brother and I bought a garage-sale Lego collection that included several bins of parts as well as some boxes and instructions. We bought it intending on sorting out as many sets from it as we could and then selling them online. This project lasted the entire summer and we are still working on organizing and prepping the sets to sell. The main sales aspect here is figuring out how to post, price, and deliver what we have, as neither of us really had any experience with online selling like this before. Because we don’t have any stake in the product itself we don’t really need to convince people to buy, instead we must make this listing available and visible in location where lego collectors, or anyone interested would be looking for sets to buy.

  1. It is really cool side hustle idea! it is definitely a solid way to figure out what it is like to sell stuff online as well having your own little business.

  2. This is interesting and something I’ve never heard of before! It’s getting you well acquainted with having to deal with people in business and also a nice bonding experience with family.
