As I am about to begin my sales career post-graduation, I have often asked myself, “How am I going to increase my sales skills this semester to set myself up for success.” One way I feel as if I am accomplishing this goal is by reading leadership/sales focused books. Right now, I am reading How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. This popular, sales focused book uncovers the secrets to success in the workplace. Specifically, this book focuses on how to increase one’s soft skills. Questions on how to deal with conflict, how to make people like you instantly, and how to navigate different social situations. I have become very invested in this book and would be open to any other suggestions on sales/leadership books.
