I have a story. When I was very young my mother always told me to eat my vegetables, that they were supposedly good for me. I usually fed them to the dog when she wasn’t looking. She kept pressing for years and years, and Chucky kept getting fed. Well one of the three of us was happy in this situation. Years have now passed and I love vegetables; peppers, broccoli, onions, they’re all delicious. The problem at the time was that I did not like a view being forced upon me.

Not much has changed since I was a child. As a matter of fact the majority of the human race dislikes something being forced upon them. So the real question, why should we try to pedal stuff that no one has discovered that they like on their own?

  1. I think it is not a bad thing to convince people what makes your product/service superior or a good fix to a solution. I also don’t think that it is good to force people or be pushy in order to sway their opinions.
