When I did my sales conversation with KR, I was aware of the tricks she plays in order to derail the other students. Through observing her, I decided to be incredibly aware of her techniques so that I could sell to her like nobody’s business. This worked… Kind of. Though I answered every question with a statement and question in order to maintain control of the conversation, I still slipped up on the budgeting and some specific questions. Sales is a difficult skill to learn and be good at. There is a lot of thinking on your feet, listening to the customer, pondering good questions, while also caring for them and the sale. It is a lot. I had not been in many sales positions so this was a fun thing to do to get me into a unique setting. Better luck next time KR.
