I just wanted to take my final blog post to reflect on my favorite video that Professor Sweet showed us. To me, this video really reflects the fun in sales. In class, we didn’t finish the entire video, so I finished the rest of the video myself. The salesman in this video is hilarious and he has perfected his style. I know that we learned about the 70/30 rule in sales, but this salesman may be an exception. He uses clever language, rhyme, and humor to make the buyer feel amused and comfortable. He also demonstrates the positive affect of the product that he is selling. This sales style is most certainly not the style for everyone, but it is interesting that he brings so much of his own personality into his selling ability. I encourage anyone who sees this just to take a few minutes to enjoy the cleverness that this salesman has to offer. I know I will never be him, but I sure could use some of his creativity and passion in my own sales approach.

  1. This video is great! I love how much fun the guy has with all of his clients, he really shows that the world of sales can be more than just all seriousness.

  2. Classic video…it is not quite the type of selling the Professor Sweet was teaching us about the whole semester, but this guy pulls it off because of the way he talks and what he says. Loved watching it in class and loved watching it again here.
