Cool, right? The blog below is going to lay out a few tips, assuming that you and your small business realize the importance of posting online content about your business to YouTube. However, I will take a minute and highlight the incredible importance of using YouTube in your business.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As mentioned above, it is the second-largest search engine in the entire world. Everybody knows the statement &#8220;google it&#8221;, however searching for something on YouTube is equally synonymous. &#8220;Dr. Google&#8221; often times is referring right to YouTube. If your small business isn&#8217;t already maximizing its presence on YouTube and that content &#8211; then it is time to start. And here is how: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Research popular keywords\/topics on Youtube <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This one is very easy to do with the &#8220;trending&#8221; tab on YouTube. Find popular trends on YouTube and look for ways to cater your content to what is catching right now. Is it a video style? Is it a type of video? Whatever is rolling across the internet right now, find a way to maximize it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Optimize your video titles AND tags<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The title makes sense, name it something that both humans and algorithms will find useful and interesting. However, do not skip out on or forget the tags you have under each video. YouTube will index these tags, and a video lacking tags &#8211; good tags &#8211; will be left in the dust without any eyeballs at all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use strong calls to action &#8211; not clickbait<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/seoblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-15-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2125\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/seoblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-15-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/seoblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-15-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/seoblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-15-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/seoblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-15-1536x864.png 1536w, https:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/seoblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-15.png 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The above is not my image and can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/images.app.goo.gl\/QtcYWtq7hZp9qepF7\">here<\/a>. However, what it does point out is the ramped (!!!!) overwhelming use of clickbait on YouTube. It is infuriating to use, frustrating to avoid, and with so many creators clearly just looking for clicks, you can stand out by not being one of those creators. &#8220;8:01&#8221; refers to creators making videos specifically for higher ad revenue. Videos over 8:00 minutes make extra money, and when a creator is combining an 8:01 long video with a clickbait title, it is clear they don&#8217;t care about the content &#8212; just the money. Don&#8217;t be one of those people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Keep track of your YouTube Analytics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Last, but most certainly not least, keep an eye on the numbers given to you. This is another post in itself, waiting to happen, but take the time to learn your analytics and understand who is watching your videos when and under what conditions. Use of this tool can make or break your channel.
