Search engines, such as Google to Bing,\u00a0make it very clear which\u00a0types of practices go against their terms. They’re also quite clear on the potential outcomes if you violate their guidelines. Using black hat SEO tactics can lead to your website being\u00a0penalized<\/a>\u00a0(either algorithmically or with a\u00a0manual action<\/a>), which means lower-ranking positions and, most likely, a decline in organic traffic.” Some black hat strategies include content automation, doorway pages, hidden text or links, keyword stuffing, reporting competitors without merit, sneaky redirects, cloaking, link schemes, guest posting networks, link manipulation, article spinning, content scraping, link farms, spam content, automated queries to Google, and pages with malicious intent.
