Social media has the ability to reach very specific audiences in terms of demographics because the content that is posted can be catered to the users style. Because of this, companies are able to keep their marketing and advertising the same when it comes to their &#8220;voice.&#8221; Another reason is that social media is a two way street. Users are able to interact and comment which connects them first-hand with businesses. What this all leads to is the user traveling to the businesses website from their social media pages. The more traffic drawn to the website, the more awareness it will gain from Googles algorithm. With more awareness, the algorithm will increase the websites rank because it will be seen as a relevant website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the business itself, it is important to produce content that aligns with SEO techniques. For example, keeping keywords or key phrases consistent on social media pages to those on the website is important. The general principle for Advertising is to keep content the same until it stops working and likewise for SEO. It is paramount to keep content consistent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this blogpost I was interested in the &#8220;secrets to SEO&#8221;. Through my research I gained an interest in the use of social media.
