And, it can be in different places, not just your website. You can create content for social media in the form of photo or video posts. A couple of other types of content are guest posts for others\u2019 websites and curated content on your own website.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SEO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SEO, or search engine optimization, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/developers.google.com\/search\/docs\/fundamentals\/seo-starter-guide\">Google Search Central<\/a>, is \u201cabout helping search engines understand your content, and helping users find your site and make a decision about whether they should visit your site through a search engine.\u201d Part of on-page SEO is creating content that will allow search engines to have a better understanding of the content of your website and provide searchers with valuable information.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How They Overlap<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, while content marketing and SEO are two different things, they can and do overlap when it comes to website content. Whenever optimizing a website, you need to have good content. And, when making content, you need to make sure that the content contains relevant keywords for SEO purposes.
