There are numerous in’s and out’s of a website and the process of optimizing it. Sometimes, it can be overwhelming, all you want to do is write the content you are passionate about and have it rank well. Unfortunately, you can not write willy nilly and it magically rank well, however, there are some very simple tricks you can easily add to your content that will help your site’s visibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Write for your Readers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    <\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The first step you can take is letting the content do the work for you. Write content that gives your readers the information they desire in an easy to consume way. In addition, it is important that you understand your readers’ intent, to ensure your content is tailored appropriately. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Add Keywords Strategically<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    When optimizing your site, keywords come up often. Keywords are the key words or phrases you think people are looking to find when they are researching content like yours. You can hep your site significantly by identifying those keywords and adding them to headings, the introduction, throughout the main body, and the last paragraph. However, be sure to not overdue it, Google can see this as spammy and rank you lower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Create Content Based Off of Reader Questions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    A key to writing SEO-optimized content is answering all the questions readers may have on your topic. You can do some research about what readers might be searching by using various existing online tools. From there, you can use what you find to inform the content you make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Structure Content for Readability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    It is very important to make your content navigable for your readers. You can do this by making clear sections with subheadings, organizing logically, use bullet points when appropriate, and by bolding or highlighting key points. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Add Alt Text to all Images<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Alt text is a summary, context, or description of an image. By adding a short description, Google has the ability to crawl and rank the image properly in image search. Furthermore, alt text can make your content more accessible for any readers who have impairments and have to use a screen reader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
