{"id":1060,"date":"2015-04-13T09:00:23","date_gmt":"2015-04-13T09:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/startupsales\/?p=1060"},"modified":"2015-04-08T23:41:45","modified_gmt":"2015-04-08T23:41:45","slug":"the-free-shipping-tactic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/startupsales\/the-free-shipping-tactic\/","title":{"rendered":"The Free Shipping Tactic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For this post, I want to share about a sales tactic that every reader has likely encountered: free-shipping. \u00a0You may ask, &#8220;how is free shipping a sales tactic?&#8221; \u00a0If you&#8217;re a shopaholic like me, you probably love free shipping. \u00a0In fact, it&#8217;s one of those things I search for on a checkout page, if I don&#8217;t just assume free shipping is offered. \u00a0Everyone loves the convenience of online shopping, but an entire shopping experience can be ruined by additional shipping charges at checkout.<\/p>\n<p>From a consumer&#8217;s angle, realize that free shipping often comes at a cost. \u00a0If you have to add items to your cart to qualify for free shipping, how does the cost of those additional items compare to the cost of shipping?
