{"id":1070,"date":"2015-04-10T18:35:34","date_gmt":"2015-04-10T18:35:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/startupsales\/?p=1070"},"modified":"2015-04-10T18:35:34","modified_gmt":"2015-04-10T18:35:34","slug":"the-power-of-habit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/startupsales\/the-power-of-habit\/","title":{"rendered":"The Power of Habit"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"post-title entry-title\"><strong>This semester, I read\u00a0<i>The Power of Habit:\u00a0<\/i><span class=\"subtitle\"><span dir=\"ltr\">Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ebook-msg\"><strong><i>\u00a0<\/i>by Charles Duhigg. \u00a0It was a book I had heard about for a long time, but had never gotten around to reading. \u00a0If you have the time, I&#8217;d highly recommend it.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<div id=\"post-body-8216604042870273312\" class=\"post-body entry-content\">\n<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div><span class=\"ebook-msg\">I believe in Habit. \u00a0I believe in having habits just for the sake of having habits. \u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"ebook-msg\"><br \/>\nI like going to the gym. \u00a0Not because I really enjoy straining and sweating on grimy machines to an odd mixture of Christmas country songs and ESPN but every morning that I drag myself out of the bed, is a day when I strengthen my habit of staying healthy.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"ebook-msg\"><br \/>\n<\/span>But beyond creating healthy heart habits, I believe the power of habit could easily applied to Sales.
