In class today we learned about mimicking people (not in a way that mocks them, but in a way that matches the energy that they are showing us). This is a technique used by law enforcement when doing interrogations, they match the criminals behavior and this ends up leading to truth being told. Of course in sales that’s not the situation that we will find ourselves in, however using this technique can prove to be beneficial when talking to customers. Reading people’s energy is key when trying to help them in any way possible, if we do this we will be able to do what’s necessary when it comes to closing a deal with a customer. There will be many customers who give off different types of personalities, it is important that we keep in mind that we are here to help. All in all\u00a0 when we use this technique subtly and show it as organic, then we give off a better sign of ourselves and meet eye to eye with our customers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
