Much like Coach DiDo, but in a less redemptive manner, Colorado is on the come up in college football. The rebranding of CU stems from Sanders\u2019 fame in the NFL but is ultimately backfiring.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sales strategy going into the \u201823 season was all built on the hype Coach Prime brought to Colorado. This selling strategy could be seen plastered in every campus store, football enthusiast shop, all throughout the NCAA. The last name \u201cSanders\u201d brought a lot of attention to the football program and for a long time was a great way to boost sales and bring in immense amounts of profit and college football prospects.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The failure in his method is found in the mimicry of his original plan at CU. Prime came into the program using his name as a selling point, and now, members of the football team who seek to play on a team with a winning record are using the same name to establish their credibility and find other opportunities.
