As a business owner, that can lead you to feel disappointed and angry. I think it is important to look at the tangibles of a customer saying no in terms of a service (trade) based industry.<\/p>\n<p>For the door to door salesman &#8211; it means just going down to the next house. For the contractor, especially someone who runs the whole show themselves, it means going to an appointment to measure the job, putting together an estimate, and sometimes another appointment to discuss details. For the new business owner, this means hours of computer work that could be spent working. However, it is important to note, that without clients &#8211; there&#8217;s no work. So this is a neccessary evil.
