As you can see, this is no ordinary envelope.\u00a0 When you first see it in your mailbox, it brings to mind the seeds that you successfully grew last year.\u00a0 The packaging is eye-catching.\u00a0 It also helps the Baker Creek brand to look like it is different than the rest, because they place enough value on their brand to put time and likely money into making their packaging attract attention.\u00a0 As a buyer, it also makes me think of their catalog, which is full of color and amazing photographs, that makes you want to spend much more money than you have room for plants in your garden.<\/p>\n

Many people who purchase seeds from Baker Creek are making these purchases based on the fact that their seeds are heirloom seeds.\u00a0 So this type of packaging does well for the company, reminding the purchaser that their seeds date years back and are a part of history, as may be the drawings on the envelope.\u00a0 Also, you may be able to see that the packaging has some Asian characters.\u00a0 I do not know what they are, but Baker Creek does sell seeds from different parts of the world.<\/p>\n

Baker Creek’s amazing design really causes me to enjoy looking at their catalog, and the care they take causes me to think that they likely care as much as they say they do.\u00a0 Thus, selling me more seeds than I may have bought otherwise!<\/p>\n
