During my senior year of high school, I was figuring out what college I wanted to attend for the next four years. Both of my brothers went to Grove City, so I already had some familiarity with the school. When I went on my official visit I was sold on Grove City. I thought the campus was beautiful and I knew the education was very good. I also liked the sense of community that I saw while I was on campus. Ultimately, the biggest factor that sold me and my parents on Grove City was that it was a Christian college. It was important to me that I was in a Christian environment where I would be surrounded by people who believed the same things as me. I grew up going to a Christian school my whole life solely because I was being taught things that aligned with my faith, and I was enriched by the environment I was in. It was important to me and my parents that I would be in a place that not only furthered my education but furthered my walk with Christ. I also liked that Grove City was far enough from my hometown that I would be “on my own” but also close enough that I could go home for a weekend if needed. During my visit in the spring, the weather was amazing which was probably the only thing that I did not see once I started attending grove City. Overall, Grove City couldn’t really go wrong because they checked all of my boxes, and I didn’t have many questions after my visit. Grove City has built up a good reputation as well as a great learning and living environment.
