Thank God, that means a distraction from stats. But this time, he came with a proposition in mind: sell Professor Sweet on having class outside.<\/p>\n<p>He believed I was the perfect person to pitch this idea, he said while pitching me his idea. Pitching the pitch? A pitch for a pitch.*<\/p>\n<p>Now, I prefer to exercise a healthy dose of skepticism when trying to decode what people are really saying, but this time, I just took him at his word. I\u2019m not sure how I feel about being the go-to for emailing Professor Sweet but I\u2019ll take it. One successful sale on Devlin\u2019s part; now it\u2019s my turn.<\/p>\n<p>With ten minutes left before class, I set about crafting the perfect email. I begin by commenting on the nice weather we\u2019re having, like the master of originality that I am. From there, my email quickly starts to look like some kind of Skyrim NPC dialogue**, where I give an adventurer (Professor) a quest (go outside), mentioning the skills needed to pull it off (being a really cool professor) and warning him of the potential consequences (students enjoying class).<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t know if the fantasy language was effective or not, but he did see the email and we did end up going outside and I did end up sunburnt. So, all in all, that makes not one but <em>two<\/em> successful sales!
