Clark’s<\/span> donuts. Last semester for my marketing class we had to pick a business big or small and market it however we would like. My group chose <\/span>Clark’s<\/span> donuts. Clarks is a donut shop <\/span>downtown,<\/span> and they also have another location. They sell to <\/span>resalers<\/span> such as county market<\/span> or even our college. <\/span>Evan Martin a young Dad <\/span>recently<\/span> bought Clarks just a few years ago and is determined to make a difference. He is going to stop selling to resalers and just sell in his own stores to make more money. This was one of my <\/span>favorite<\/span> projects, I learned a lot abou<\/span>t <\/span>marketing<\/span> and sales and how they are so <\/span>intertwined<\/span>. My group had made a catchy jingle for the business that we<\/span>nt <\/span>\u201cAt Clark\u2019s donuts we\u2019ve got the treat, handmade donuts, so fresh and so sweet.\u201d Sung by<\/span> none other but<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Andrew Blank. We <\/span>came up with small fl<\/span>yers in a donut shape.<\/span> We had suggestions on a new logo to make things look more appealing with \u00a0different colors and a different font that could catch our audience.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>We went into the store and took videos and pictures and created a whole advertising campaign. We pitched our idea to Evan Martin and unfortunately for us he never got back a<\/span>bout it after our <\/span>project<\/span> was officially over. We hope that he uses some of our ideas and that we could help in better his sales in the future. It was a very fun project to work on and I learned a lot. I learned about <\/span>different selling techniques from Martin and what sells versus what doesn\u2019t. He gave us helpful tips throughout the <\/span>project<\/span> and even helpful life tips.<\/span> In the future I could see <\/span>myself<\/span> marketing and communicating with the sales team <\/span>because<\/span> it goes hand in hand. <\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
