Before coming to Grove City College, I attended a weeklong swim camp in the summer of 2023 (my summer between 11th and 12th grade) my main goal for the swim camp was not to tour the campus, or really even to look at it, but simply to swim. Ever since I was four years old, I have swum, and since Grove City’s head Coach Dave Fritz ran a very efficient summer swim camp, I decided to go, but again, not for the purpose of attending the college. However, just about the entire time Fritz and the other coach councilors advocated for the college extensively and even toured me around campus a little bit, although time was limited. Something that they utilized in trying to sell Grove City College was my interest in swimming, and in knowing that they talked very highly about how Grove City is the top-ranking school for swimming in the entire PAC. They also made sure to add the fact that this is a private Christian school, which is something that I was looking for. All in all, my coach councilors knew that I was not there to be sold on coming to school here, yet they still did, which I respect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
