Today the class attempted to sell Ducky Derby tickets to students on campus, and it was kinda hard. Here’s what I found.<\/p>\n
~most people responded with “sorry not today” or “sorry I can’t right now”,\u00a0 this is an expected answer from people who simply are not interested<\/p>\n
~ another big group was those who said “I don’t have cash on me now”.\u00a0 which is also not surprising, as College students are generally pretty broke.<\/p>\n
~one of the other big problems we encountered was that we had many people say they had already been asked by another group. SAC and Hicks were immediately targeted by the first groups out the door.<\/p>\n
~there didn’t seem to be any pattern for who was a successful sale or not, we tended to use the same pitch each time.<\/p>\n
