The lady I purchased the boat from was a very kind elderly woman. During the buying process the old lady appealed to the emotional side of selling and explained how she just &#8220;wanted someone to take care of her boat&#8221;. Money was not her priority in the transaction. After she asked me lots of questions about why I was interested in the boat, she eventually got to my &#8220;why&#8221; which was that I wanted a reliable boat to use for fishing on the lake. Once she realized that I was a good person who had good intentions with the boat, she was more than happy to sell to me for 1,500 dollars with the boat lift included.
