There is a new player in town, online sales and it is here to stay. What I have learned as a soon to be graduated entrepreneurship major, \u00a0is that it is VITAL for businesses to be aware and understand the implications of e-commerce. As an ambitious entrepreneur who is aspiring to start a business, e-commerce being popular is EXTREMELY exciting.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest benefit of e-commerce to an entrepreneur is the barrier to entry being much smaller. For under $100 I can create an e-commerce website, and if I properly market my product can be selling directly to users that day. In the past businesses would rely on getting into retailers, door to door selling, cold calling. You get the picture, the list goes on. Online sales greatly reduces expenses, which is HUGE for a startup company.<\/p>\n<p>For someone that has never tried e-commerce firsthand before it can seem rather intimidating, but it is actually far simpler than you may think.
