Well, in all sales, there are two\u00a0dimensions\u00a0of sales: inside sales and outside sales. What are these two dimensions and how are they used in traditional sales as well as non-sales selling?<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The first type of sales is inside sales. Inside sales are done without the seller actually meeting anyone face-to-face. It is also referred to as remote sales. Inside sales traditionally can be in the form of a telemarketer or cold caller while an example of non-sales inside selling might be a phone interview.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The second type of sales is outside sales. These are the sales done face-to-face. These types of sales can be more intimidating but also more effective. There&#8217;s a greater risk but a greater reward. In a traditional sense, outside sales can be a door-to-door salesman but in non-sales, it can be a round of gulf with a prospective customer or taking an employee out to eat to discuss work ethic or a raise.
