Learning about their\ninterests could lead to other tangential sales opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>View them\nRelationally <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you only reach out to clients when you need something,\nthen you\u2019re essentially ignoring them. These people are reaching out to you for\nsales because they need help getting\/achieving something for themselves or\ntheir business. Actually viewing this as a relational process will allow you ot\nbetter understand their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do Your Homework <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You have to know your own business, products, competition, <em>and <\/em>learn about the client. Not only\nwill this show you are prepared, it shows that you care about the person on the\nother end and are trying to find them the best solution <em>for them<\/em>.
