Figure out what your best approach is and\nhow much it should cost. When selling a clear mission is extremely important to\nyour prospect. It is very hard to spend money on something that you do not\nunderstand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Break the mission into specific goals<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep track of the goals that\nyou can control. The cold calls you make in a day, the sales calls that you go\non, the referrals that you follow up on. This allows sales people to track\ntheir progress and measure and learn from your results. Organization is a sales\nperson\u2019s best friend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Sell to customer needs <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Prospects are usually only\ngoing to buy what they need. This means that you must emphasize the benefit of\nyour product or services in how it will help solve the prospect\u2019s needs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Create and maintain favorable attention<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Diligent follow-through and\nabove-and-beyond customer service are the keys to maintaining it. Trust is\nbuilt on one\u2019s ability and their intent. By doing things the right way and\nfollowing through with your word, you will build trust and gain more favorable\nattention. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Sell on purpose<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Always know what to do and why\nyou are doing it, in every step of the sales process. If you do not know what\ndo to, you need to get some training or guidance in this process. Many sales\npeople will bring a subject matter expert with them on sales calls if the\nproduct or service is very technical or has many moving pieces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ask, listen, and act<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ask questions, listen, ask\nquestions, listen, and repeat this process until you know what the prospect is\nlooking for. Then you can act and speak to the prospect about the solution that\nyou may or may not have. If you do not have the solution for their problem,\ntell them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Take responsibility but not the credit<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You are the leader and face of\nthe company. When things go write give the credit to your team, and when things\ngo wrong, take it on the chin, do not blame anyone else. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Work on the basics<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone has room for\nimprovement, there is not a perfect sales person. Everyone has a weakness, make\ngoals to work on the things that you do not like, or are not good at. Set a\nbenchmark sales person and try to reach their level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Develop your attitude <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Your attitude is controllable. You\nneed to use it to change your beliefs and over come your fears the prohibit you\nfrom being your best. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Maximize your time<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Focus on your goals and staying\non task. If you can do everything on time in your schedule, then you have\ncompleted a day \u2018s worth of goals.
