In the\npast, the point was made that salespeople would spend time memorizing scripts\nand talk based on pre-written words and action points to motivate the customer\nto feel comfortable with the salesperson. Today, sales scripts still do exist,\nbut their focus has shifted overt time. Below are a few tips on how to write a\nsales script for today\u2019s market: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Identify Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Identify the benefits that are <em>only relevant to your prospective client. <\/em>Don\u2019t just word vomit the\nentire list of features your product\/service has to offer, but try to tailor it\nto the needs and pain points of your client. Be sure to highlight how each\nbenefit alleviates a pain!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ask Questions About Pain\nPoints:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The best salespeople are often to ask relevant and specific,\nyet open-ended questions. Ask questions that enable the client to provide you\nwith the information you need to succeed instead of placing that focus on you\nto accomplish that task. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Shut Up and Listen:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Give the client room to talk.
