{"id":7800,"date":"2021-03-02T01:35:43","date_gmt":"2021-03-02T01:35:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/startupsales\/?p=7800"},"modified":"2021-03-02T01:35:43","modified_gmt":"2021-03-02T01:35:43","slug":"selling-as-an-introvert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/startupsales\/selling-as-an-introvert\/","title":{"rendered":"Selling as an Introvert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Selling is no easy task.\u00a0 There are many things one must think about before, during, and even after making the sale.\u00a0 For some, closing a sale might come easier to them than it does for others.\u00a0 During class this week we have learned about multiple tips that can help assist an introvert with the power of attunement.\u00a0 This post will focus on sales men and women with a more introvert personality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tips for Introverts:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1.\u00a0 Practice your &#8220;ask&#8221; in advance\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It may be challenging or even nerve-racking to try and think about questions on the spot.\u00a0 An easy fix for this would be to think about questions to ask before hand.\u00a0 This will make you less nervous and more prepared to have an engaging conversation with the client.\u00a0 It is important to have an engaging conversation because you want to find similarities between the two of you.\u00a0 Thinking about questions ahead of time is a great way to prepare yourself, and make you less nervous.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Practice meeting people<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As an introvert, meeting new people can be very unsettling.\u00a0 I encourage introverts to step outside of their comfort zones, and meet new people.\u00a0 This will not only give you experience dealing with new people, but it can help you practice not being nervous, and asking quality questions.\u00a0 I can speak from experience, meeting new people has really made it easier to strike and engaging conversation with a stranger.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Pay attention to your inner voice<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many introverts may have a voice inside of their head telling them to hide, or fly under the radar.\u00a0 If this is the case, you need to pay attention to that voice, and ignore it.\u00a0 As an introvert, you need to make a conscious effort NOT to do that.\u00a0 Instead of hiding and acting shy, try bringing attention to yourself in a good way.\u00a0 This is great practice for when you get to a sales meeting, and nerves start kicking in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.
