Well Jane Porter talks a little bit about this in her post a little while back, but it is still true today. There are a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/article\/222432%20\" target=\"_blank\">few tips on how to get over that rejection<\/a> that I want to talk about.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Figure Out the Industry Success Ratio<\/p>\n<p>Not every phone call you make or person you meet is going to buy from you. Every business, even the juggernaut Apple, deals with lost sales! Talk to other entrepreneurs in your industry and figure out how many sales they get out of 10 potential sales.<\/p>\n<p>Remove Self Pity<\/p>\n<p>This is a very common thing among solo entrepreneurs and it makes sense. The issue is that you do not have time for this pity. Rejection come and with failure comes learning. When you and your business are turned down see what you did wrong and change something and maybe next time you will get close to a sale.<\/p>\n<p>Build Connections<\/p>\n<p>This is a great tip and something that I never even thought about. Rather than completely cutting off connections with someone because they rejected your business does not mean that the same thing will happen in the future. I was under the impression until now that if they say no, don\u2019t bother them anymore. You still don\u2019t want to bother them, but keep in touch and ask them about what they could possibly need in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Not all is lost when you lose a sale. These are just a few approaches to take when dealing with rejection.
