{"id":7917,"date":"2021-03-12T05:56:36","date_gmt":"2021-03-12T05:56:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/startupsales\/?p=7917"},"modified":"2021-03-12T05:56:36","modified_gmt":"2021-03-12T05:56:36","slug":"being-a-social-introvert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gccwebsites.com\/startupsales\/being-a-social-introvert\/","title":{"rendered":"Being a Social Introvert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>All my life, people have told me that I&#8217;m a crazy extrovert.\u00a0 I love people, I love functions, and I especially love strangers.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not afraid of meeting people; in fact, I thrive in situations where I know absolutely no one.\u00a0 All of these things would point to me being an extrovert.\u00a0 However, I&#8217;ve always known that I&#8217;m truly more introverted than extroverted &#8211; I gain my energy from being alone, and if I spend too much time with other people then I start to burn out.\u00a0 I need my alone-time; without it, I go crazy.<\/p>\n<p>Until I took this class, I had coined my condition a kind of &#8220;social introversion.&#8221;\u00a0 At the core of it, I&#8217;m not an extrovert, I&#8217;m just an extroverted introvert.\u00a0 However, what I actually am is an Ambivert, a special medium between the two.\u00a0 I think I&#8217;m probably the most extreme ambivert I&#8217;ve ever met &#8211; for how much I love social situations, I love being alone in just the same way.
