I don&#8217;t know anyone who has a sales deck that they&#8217;re currently working on, but I figured it&#8217;s good to have around &#8211; an ounce of prevention is a pound of cure! I highly suggest you check out their post and run through their <a title=\"Hubspot\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.hubspot.com\/sales\/10-tweaks-to-make-to-your-sales-pitch-deck-before-sending-it-to-a-prospect-slideshare\" target=\"_blank\">SlideShare<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The highlights are<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The sales deck should, first of all, be set up as a presentation instead of a word document. This will be more engaging to the prospect.<\/li>\n<li>To\u00a0those with sales decks at their disposal they suggest that you look at the tweaks before ever sending it to others.<\/li>\n<li>The ten tweaks\n<ol>\n<li>rethink your objective<\/li>\n<li>remove everything that doesn&#8217;t pertain to the objective<\/li>\n<li>make it engaging<\/li>\n<li>one idea per slide<\/li>\n<li>add some &#8220;help text&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>make an enticing title slide<\/li>\n<li>have a clear &#8220;call to action&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>ensure it to be self-sufficient<\/li>\n<li>rename the file<\/li>\n<li>upload and share the hyperlink<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I think renaming the file is essential, yet often missed. It&#8217;s a small detail, but you&#8217;re looking through the prospect&#8217;s eyes, which is something they&#8217;ll appreciate.
