With people even associating this occupation with adjectives like distrustful, weaselly, manipulative, opportunistic, etc. So I just wanted to discuss a terrible and popular marketing tactic in order to highlight the importance of trust in building good, profitable customer relations. The tactic I will discuss is targeting customers insecurities in hopes of using of swaying customers to feel like they need your product. This practice is mostly seen in market&#8217;s like plastic surgery where the idea of perfection is huge selling point. And how do make perfection important to someone point and highlight their imperfections. A more simpler example is trying to sell someone a toothbrush by lying to them that their teeth are unhealthy and yellow.
