Through observing her, I decided to be incredibly aware of her techniques so that I could sell to her like nobody&#8217;s business. This worked&#8230; Kind of. Though I answered every question with a statement and question in order to maintain control of the conversation, I still slipped up on the budgeting and some specific questions. Sales is a difficult skill to learn and be good at. There is a lot of thinking on your feet, listening to the customer, pondering good questions, while also caring for them and the sale. It is a lot. I had not been in many sales positions so this was a fun thing to do to get me into a unique setting.
