How to leverage ChatGPT in your SEO

ChatGPT is sweeping the nation, dramatically changing how people search already. This amazing AI creation can write stories, essays, poems, ad copy, etc. ChatGPT is also already in use as a search engine tool. Its uniquely conversational way of responding to questions, and it’s ability to understand more complex search queries should make engines like Google nervous.

The keyword research capabilities of ChatGPT:

Using ChatGPT to generate keywords is really as simple as typing in a few of your own keywords and asking ChatGPT to generate related keywords. ChatGPT will also tell you what the competition is like for each of the keywords by asking it which keywords would rank best. It can even return suggestions for which of the two options you gave it would be the best choice.

ChatGPT can create a content strategy for you:

According to the Search Engine Journal, ChatGPT can actually create a very complex set of tactics for your content strategy in a specific field. While it won’t create the very minute details of the strategy for you, it can still help break out and organize your content strategy into a plan that you can implement.

ChatGPT will take your titles to the next level:

As a writer of content, one of the most challenging parts of the creative process can be coming up with an interesting title. ChatGPT can create a list of fun and relevant titles based on a given topic so that you won’t have to stay stuck in your writer’s block. One downside to this feature, however, is that your competitors might be asking it the same thing, so human ingenuity is still necessary to keep from having six articles with the exact same GPT generated title.

ChatGPT can create interesting content for blogs, social media, etc:

This function must be used carefully, however, as search engines like Google have become critical of sites that clearly employ posts created by AI. Thus, ChatGPT is more helpfully used in coming up with ideas for content and clarifying your own thoughts on an issue. ChatGPT is also able to organize ideas into neat bullet points, make them more concise, and help writers to have an overall direction for their post.

I think this post was super interesting and relevant to our discussion of SEO. Search engines are constantly changing, which means marketers have to respond to these changes in a way that effectively meets customer expectations. I think that longer keyword strands becoming more prevalent points to the idea that voice commands are going to out pass individually typed out searches in the decades to come. Overall, good job!

I’m still shocked by this new AI technology. This is a really great topic for a post and definitely showcases the way our world is changing right before our eyes. I’m glad you brought up all the things ChatGPT can do for our business and SEO environment, but I almost found it more interesting that you brought up what it CAN’T do. You mentioned how ChatGPT is most helpful for brainstorming and answering questions (as opposed to just doing the work for you) since Google doesn’t usually like content written and created by AI. I thought that was a great point, especially as it relates to SEO and how AI and the human mind can work together.

I thgink that this AI technology has been on the run ever since it was invented. You can use it for so much and even in the amount that you have described and the ways you described it in. Continuing, optimizing your own site or your own business through AI can set you apart from others in the world.
