So how do you link bait?

  2. Create citable content for journalists or content creators who want to back up their stats, quotes, or comments included in their article.
  3. Create content that solves problems or answers questions of your niche
  4. Create content that evokes emotions in your readers
  5. Create content surrounding a hot topic or a controversy at the time
  6. Create completely unique and quirky content that catches attention

You just need to do your research and understand what content is going to be interesting and meaningful enough to talk about. This process takes time, and you need to be willing to put the time in to understand who is linking to other sites like yours, and how you can garner authoritative links too. Spending time researching this will help you to be able to understand who you need to talk to in order to get eyes on your valuable content. Don’t be afraid to call and ask someone to link to you. If you have good content, then they’ll want to link to you.
