AI Will Transform Teaching and Learning

During the AI+Education Summit that is held at Stanford University there was a lot of discussion with the most recent advancement in technology, Chat GPT. The introduction of artificial intelligence has already made a huge impact on the lives of students and professors. One of the studies showed that 30% of all college students use or have used Chat GPT for school. Through this groundbreaking advancement, Educational Institutions are wrestling with the question of “How can AI like this and other applications be best used to advance human learning?” Daniel Shwartz, the Dean of Graduate School and Education puts his two cents in by stating the fact that AI could actually help the teaching community to explore new ways of learning for students.

In search of answering such a difficult question, Stanford has all fronts of their departments researching and developing ways to answer this question. Education, Technology, Psychology, Business, Law and Political Science have paired up with Sahil Khan (the creator of Khan Academy) to explore all areas of what this new wave could mean for not only education, but all aspects of life.
