First, we need to know what newsjacking is. Newsjacking is the process by which you inject your ideas or angles into breaking news, in real-time, in order to generate media coverage for yourself or your business. One of the ways to get better at newsjacking is to connect with a well known web publisher or blogger and give them an “exlcusive” before you publish it. Another way is to prepare your content for immediate and long-term success. A last way I want to discuss is to promote your content actively to other publishers, bloggers, and relevant sites.
