Keyword Stuffing – Someone who isn’t familiar with SEO ethic standards may believe that keyword stuffing is the epitome of SEO. algorithms have found ways to determine when someone is keyword stuffing and it actually does more harm to their SERP standing than good.
Meta Keywords Tag – Ironically enough, adding keywords to your meta keywords tag actually doesn’t do anything to help your standings in the SERP. It used to make a difference until the algorithm realized people started abusing the tool.
Higher Keyword Density Means Better Rankings – While you should include keywords in your content, you must be sure to keep a healthy balance. Using too many can oversaturate your page and the algorithm will detect the saturation and move you lower in the SERP.
The Longer Your Content, The Better Your Ranking – While in quality and depth help determine your rankings, the length of your content doesn’t always mean you’ll place higher. Search engines look more for original thought, quality, relevance, and user engagement.
