This class has been my first opportunity to really look into search engine optimization, and I find that understanding the key and important aspects is super helpful. The aspect of SEO being cost-effective was one that I did not remember really discussing in class or reading online through my research. I had not thought of SEO in that way! Paid advertising costs can add up quickly, but SEO offers a method for people to find your site in an easy and low- to no-cost way. This just makes understanding SEO even more important in order to reach a necessary audience. Great post!

I particularly liked how you emphasized the long-term benefits of SEO. It’s easy to get caught up in the fast results from paid ads, but the organic growth that comes from solid SEO work really pays off in the long run.

The point you made about SEO improving the user experience is also something that can be easily overlooked. It’s not just about ranking higher on search engines, but making sure your website is user-friendly and valuable to visitors. That’s what ultimately builds trust and turns visitors into loyal customers.
