In a world that is so internet dependent, businesses need to utilize SEO to not fall behind and lose visibility in a search query. Another huge reason that supports the use of SEO is that search engines generate a lot of traffic. People all over the world perform billions of searches every single day and SEO allows your site to be at the top of the SERPs. This allows you to get more eyes on your site and more clicks to your site, which will help lead to more conversions. Also, it can be a super cost effective way to advertise your business. There are no actual advertising costs and you don’t have to pay for your site to be place high on the SERP, but with the right content and keywords the search engine will rank your site at the top. There are no pay per click costs because SEO is trying to get organic search clicks which is cheaper in the long run. Also, a basic SEO foundation can be built on and scaled with little effort and it can allow you to rank at the top consistently. Lastly, one of the most important reasons to do SEO is that your competitors are and you do not want to fall behind, or they aren’t and you can be even more successful than them.
