How Web Design Impacts Users

User experience, commonly known as UX, is heavily impacted by SEO and vice versa. User experience explained simply is how a customer interacts with and engages with a site or product. When discussing SEO, user experience is impacted by how fast and how clearly the SERPs answer the user’s search request.

When a potential customer enters a website, they are looking for an efficient and easy experience. When the website is efficient, and the products or services are clearly displayed, the customer leaves content and wanting to not only come back but encourage others to do so. In companies maximizing good SEO and investing time, energy and money into this, they end up bringing in more revenue because the users had a great experience and want to have that same experience again at a later time.

The loading time of websites also impacts the user’s experience. Unfortunately, in our day people are growing less and less patient and technology is one aspect where we are seeing the impact of this. When a website loads quickly and efficiently, the user’s experience is positively influenced. In conclusion, UX is heavily impacted by SEO. This should be taken into account when a business or organization is creating their content and website.
