Many websites create and design 404-error pages in a manner that fits the aesthetic and mood of the site itself. It gives the company an opportunity to further their theme. What is a 404 error exactly? A 404-error page is also known as a “page not found” page. According to Mailchimp, a website may display the 404-error page by a server when a user tries to access a URL that does not exist or cannot be found. That is not the only reason one may see a 404-error page. This could be a result of a page that has been deleted, moved to a different location, or because of a mistyped URL. Now that we have a solid understanding of 404-error pages, let’s look at a couple of creative ones!

This is great! I like how such a small detail for a company’s website can be utilized so well and your examples just highlight how that creativity leads to user interaction. The Lego 404 error page is well done!
Love this!! 404 error pages are not something the typical person thinks about when looking at a website, but I think they are one of the funniest and interesting pages that let a company display personality.
