Whale’s Tail Adventure Co is a small t-shirt company me and my friend Gavin Rhodes own. It is no older than a year old. Here is a little bit about it.

We are a community of extreme sports athletes who are passionate about Jesus and committed to pushing the limits, whether we’re shredding the slopes, in the barrel of a wave, or tackling the challenges of daily life.

Our Mission

Founded with the desire to unite a community of Christian athletes, our mission is simple: to inspire others to live boldly for Christ while embracing the thrill and challenge of extreme sports. We know that just as we push ourselves in our pursuits of adventure, we’re called to push ourselves in faith. Our motto, “Bold in Sport. Bold in Faith,” reflects our belief that these two areas of life should be pursued with passion.

Inspiration

A key verse that drives us is Isaiah 41:10: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” This verse is a reminder that, no matter the obstacle—whether it’s a daunting trail or a test of faith—God is with us, strengthening and guiding us every step of the way.

Our apparel is made for those who live for extreme sports and want to push their limits, whether it’s on the mountain, in the air, or on the water. We also aim to build a community of athletes who love Jesus and want to express their faith through bold living. Whether you’re floating through powder or seeking to grow in your faith, we encourage you to embrace the adventure.”

It has been a blast to get to know more about selling t-shirts online through this. I learned the use of internet tracking, to help find out the platform we get the most traffic from. Also Learning what devices people use when looking at our website. On top of that, the use of keywords is very useful to get higher up on the Google search bar. However, I’m still learning all of the small techniques of SEO. I’m hoping that through this class I will be able to understand and learn new methods and ways of marketing our shirts to a larger audience.
