In order to captivate your audience, you need to find something that makes you stand out. First, do some competitive research. Whether you are trying to build a brand from the ground up, creating a new product line, or even starting a new marketing campaign, it is important to always keep asking yourself: “What can I say about myself that nobody else can?” This will create a stream of ideas that will then translate into differentiation when it comes to your project(s). For example, if I were to create a new marketing campaign as Starbucks, I would begin by analyzing Dunkin, and other local coffee stores. From this, I would realize that what sets me apart is the environment and excellent service is consistent across all stores nationally and use that as my selling point. It is relatively easy to execute and will work wonders for your next project. Try it out next time you are working on a marketing related task, and it will open your eyes to new avenues of research you didn’t think possible!

I enjoyed reading your post and agree with you that understanding your audience, its needs and then creating a unique and attractive way to get the attention of your audience is extremely important. A company setting itself apart from other alike companies is super important.
