Photos

In web design that pictures you choose are very important. In wordpress you can choose the alt text and this can help you get more keywords. Pictures are often not used to the full potential that they could be. There are backlinks where you can tell where your photos are being spread on the internet. Another thing I think that is important to consider is the quality of your photos. In this class we have talked about having a trustworthy website and high-quality photos are an easy way to not only elevate your content but also the trustworthiness of your site. Something that should be taken into consideration recently is AI. A lot of people are starting to use AI for their pictures. Sometimes this is personal preference, but I believe you should not use AI photos. Oftentimes, it is very obvious when the photo is AI-generated. AI is improving so there will also be times you will not be able to tell, but as of now, it is a good idea to steer clear. For a website I am building outside of class, there were not a lot of pictures to choose from, so I decided to go and take pictures for the brand to use them for the website and hopefully heighten their trustworthiness with nicer quality photography. I took photography last sesmester and they will teach you about having nice photo quality and the outcomes of taking pictures the right way and the benefits you will be able to see from it. On my website I am also planning on using the alt text feature to get more keywords.
