They find the latest trends and discover a niche within it to start a business on. The digital economy is truly growing and because of the growth, search engine optimization is something that these new businesses should familiarize themselves with. With new companies constantly being established, SEO is more important now than ever if a business wants to reach the right audience. Using SEO can greatly increase the number of views a website can get. Understanding the Googlebot and Google’s algorithms can bring a website to the top of the search results page. New companies also need to be careful to not fall into the trap of Black Hat SEO. These new businesses must follow Google’s guidelines. Not following the proper rules can, in the long run, hurt a company. Understanding proper keywords and phrases will reveal where a business shows up in the SERP and how online viewers are reacting to the type of content.
