Last year, Hubspot published an interesting article about 28 apps that every sales rep. needs on their phone in 2017. In this blog post, I will address 5 apps that I find most beneficial and useful.
For salespeople who are not interested in writing notes, Dragon Diction automatically translates voice memos into text. The text is immediately be recorded and visually appears on one’s screen. Furthermore, the sales rep. does not need to worry about missing key information and can have access to the conversation whenever is most convenient. This application is free on iTunes.
Daily, salespeople are given many business card, which carry vital information. Yet, between traveling and meeting numerous prospects, these business cards have a high risk of being accidently thrown out or lost. CamCard allows users to simply take a photo of a business card. Once the photo is taken, the information is digitally encrypted and located into one’s contacts. Today, CamCard is the number one business card app, with over 100 million users. This application is free on Google Play and iTunes.
For salesmen who are always on the go, TripIt, provides these businessmen with a centralized platform that contains their travel information. All flight, car rental, and restaurant confirmations can be easily accessed in one centralized itinerary. The app is free and can be accessed on Google Play and iTunes.
Keynote is a presentation app designed for mobile devices including iPhones, iPads, and tablets. The app includes both animated charts as well as transitions that can be easily designed without the use of a laptop or computer. The app is free and offered in iTunes.
Every sales representative knows the importance of keeping key documents saved and organized. The Doc Scan app allows the user to take a picture of a document and convert the file to a PDF or JPG format. Even if the document is crumbled, Doc Scan produces a clear image. The app is available both in the iTunes and Google Play for free.
I’ve literally never heard of any of these apps before, but camcard sounds super useful. I’ve never had a useful way to store business cards, and often times they end up getting lost or in the trash. Thank you for sharing!
These are all really interesting and cool apps that can help salespeople. I also have never heard about any of these, but they are something I’d consider looking more into. Thanks!
Wow thank you so much, i definitely will be using some of these apps over the summer.
I hadn’t heard of most of these either! Such a cool post. With all the technology we have now, it makes sense that we could put some of it to use to help us stay organized and alert in sales. It’s great to know that tools like these are at our fingertips. Thanks for this.
Downloading dragon diction now… This is AWESOME. I have been thinking about an app like this for quite some time now.
This is a great list of apps that will definitely be helpful in the future.
