Sales Funnel
When trying to make a sale it is important to have a process that helps you generate the sales. In looking at different sales funnels on the internet and that we talked about in class I found that the sale is always at the bottom of the funnel. This is important because if you try to push the sale too early this will drastically shrink your chances of making the sales. This is so often one of the largest reasons why a sale is not completed. It is also important however to make sure once you reach the final step that you go through with the sale. If you go through the entire process, but never even try to get the sale all of the time that you spent in building this relationship has be a waste. Before this is done though you must first foster a relationship between the customers. This period is vastly different for the selling of different products. For example, if you work in the store you might not even say a word to the customer buying a box of candy, however if you are selling an $80,000 RV or multimillion dollar account that relationship is important. This is done through conversations and sales calls. During this point the key is to control the conversation without doing the talking. This is done by asking relevant open ended questions that get to the pain of the customer. This step can not just be a onetime thing but rather be a regular checkup that makes sure you still understand what they need. It is important to realize during the sales process if you as a seller do not offer what they are looking for as a buyer the best thing to do is respectfully tell them that you do not have what they need, and do not want to waste their time.
Hey there nice post. Sales can be very difficult and understanding how it operates is very important. Sales is complicated but once it is understood it can be pretty easy to use. THe funnel is a great way to show this well done.
